As the Director of Events for Meeting Professionals International (MPI), Melinda Burdette oversees the association’s domestic and international event footprint, including their signature experiences, World Education Congress (WEC) and European Meetings and Events Conference (EMEC). She is charged with the daunting task of designing experiences for thousands of meeting and event professionals that inspire them to innovate and create on their own. Melinda is a Certified Meeting Professional and has worked in the medical, nonprofit, and corporate meetings and events industry. Because of her success and leadership, Northstar Meetings Group recognized her in October 2018 as one of the Top 25 Women in the Meetings Industry. She also led the team that recently was awarded the 2019 Eventex Award for best Global Association Meeting for MPI’s 2018 World Education Congress.

Pepper Dombroski joined The Broadmoor in 2013 from the Grand Wailea in Maui, Hawaii, where she held the position of Director of Sales beginning in 2005. Before relocating to Hawaii, Dombroski held several positions within the Rocky Mountain region, including Director of Sales & Marketing for the Snake River Lodge & Spa and Sales Manager for the Westin Vail Cascade Club.
