Barcelo Maya Grand Resort in Mexico’s Riviera Maya is set to open a new adults-only luxury hotel in January 2020 with 850 suites.

The beachfront resort will feature a convention center with almost 250,000 sf of meeting facilities and exhibition space, perfect for hosting domestic and international events, as well as conferences and incentives.

One-Stop Shop

“Our meeting facilities are state-of-the-art, multi-usage and complete with separate conference centers in each resort,” says Juan Perez, SVP of sales and marketing at Barcelo Hotel Group. “Meeting planners find great value in all-inclusive resorts because they provide essentially ‘one-stop shopping.’ With the exception of possible moderate surcharges for some group functions, the price for meetings and conferences is always controlled. All meals in restaurants, rooms, taxes and other expenses are packaged in one price, which allows the planner to budget with ease.”

Barcelo partners with progressive IT and event companies that deliver a broad range of conference services experiences, including the innovative use of technology group programming that offers visionary immersive entertainment content. Team building activities can be organized at locations such as the beach or soccer and baseball fields, and bowling tournaments can be organized at two of the resorts.

Immersive Meetings

“Each group event is special for our Barcelo team and we commit to creating a one of a kind spectacular memory for your attendees,” says Perez. “We offer so many options for our groups so that every attendee feels pampered and special. Your group can experience a sunset welcome reception or dinner on our pristine beaches. During the day, they can meet in state-of-the art conference centers, where every coffee break or group lunch is an experience for the taste buds. In the evening, they can wine and dine in one of our dozens of restaurants with dishes from around the world.”
