Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast, the tourism marketing organization for the tri-county coastal region encompassing Hancock, Harrison, and Jackson counties in which 12 coastal communities sit, has rebranded and is now Coastal Mississippi.
Tucked away between New Orleans, Louisiana and Mobile, Alabama, this versatile destination encompasses 62 miles of scenic coastline and is best known for its local seafood, golf courses designed by the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Tom Fazio, and an array of watersports.
The area’s meetings offerings include the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center with more than 400,000 sq ft of meeting space that can comfortably house groups of up to 6,000 people, and approximately 15,000 guestrooms in everything from luxury casino resorts and international hotel brands to boutique hotels and bed-and-breakfast inns.
Meetings offerings also include the 1,740-room Beau Rivage Resort & Casino with 50,000 sq ft of meeting space; the 1,088-room IP Casino Resort and Spa with 65,000 sq ft of meeting space; and the 721-room Golden Nugget Biloxi with 22,000 sq ft of meeting space.
