Ritz-Carlton New York completes its refresh.

Located on the edge of Manhattan’s iconic park, The Ritz-Carlton, New York, Central Park has unveiled its recent transformation that includes all 253 guest rooms and suites, the addition of two new presidential suites, and a new all-day gastro-lounge called Contour where small plates and cocktails showcase locally sourced ingredients.

“The transformation our hotel has seen over the course of this past year truly redefines luxury in Manhattan,” explains Winfred van Workum, general manager of The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park. “Combining a bold vision and inspiration with our legendary service, the vibrant energy of the city and Central Park shines through each of the spaces and provides a renewed oasis in the heart of New York City.”

The mezzanine level of The Ritz-Carlton property has been reconceived and now offers a fitness center with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment and weights. There’s also a Movement Studio featuring virtual fitness classes by FitnessOnDemand, Peloton bikes, a Concept2 Rower, and full-length ballet bar. Its renewed spa, La Prairie, offers treatments inspired by Central Park. The Club Lounge, on the second floor has views of the park.

In addition to the design updates, the property has also just announced “new moments” that are aimed at immersing guests in the essence of New York City life. One such offering is a $50,000 Nightcap Package that includes a stay in the Royal Suite with private spa treatments where two therapists work together on facials and hand and foot massages.

“The unified vision throughout the hotel allows guests to feel as if they are visiting their very own townhouse in the heart of New York City,” says van Workum. “The creative reimagining of our guest rooms, suites, Club Lounge, and spa creates a heightened sense of place and serves as a gateway for travelers to experience the destination with ease and luxury.”
