There is a lot going on at Peninsula hotels worldwide including upgrades, new meeting space, and art initiatives. One of the most significant upgrades is underway at the Peninsula Manila. All rooms and suites are being refreshed, and The Gallery Club Lounge created, a new, third-floor 90-seat guest lounge accessible to suite guests, featuring a range of refreshments and live music. Both are slated to debut this October. The revamped rooms will include technology touchpoints throughout.

The Gallery Club Lounge, decorated with original commissioned artwork by local Filipino artists, serves a hot breakfast buffet, all-day refreshments and light bites, afternoon tea, canapés, and an open bar stocking a curated selection of spirits and sommelier-selected wines, as well as live musical entertainment. Other benefits including express check-in and check-out, complimentary local calls, one-hour free use of the board room and round-the-clock business and concierge services.

Art in Resonance, a brand-wide initiative, is underway. This global immersive art experience launched at The Peninsula Hong Kong and will be traveling to Paris in September. This rhythm will be replicated twice each year, snowballing as the program travels and grows in each city of the 10 locations of The Peninsula Hotels and three under development in London, Istanbul, and Yangon.

Curatorial duo Isolde Brielmaier and Bettina Prentice collaborated across two continents to bring this international collection of experiential art installations to life. They hand-selected contemporary artists to create original works rooted in physical experiences, designed to amplify the senses and resonate with guests on an emotional level. More than two years in the making, the installations encourage collective participation from both guests and the public.

A hotel brand committed to art, other programs can be found in the Peninsula Beverly Hills where a rotating selection of street artists create one-of-a-kind works in real time as part of the 16-week series, taking place each Thursday, now through September 5 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Specialty cocktails and bites from an art-inspired menu round out the experience.

Home, an exhibition honoring the notions of home, identity, and community, is on view at the Peninsula New York through November 30. The exhibition features a curated selection of original works by various artists including Do Ho Suh, Catherine Opie, and Angel Otero.
