It’s that time of year again, when clocks are set back one hour and Daylight Savings Time helps everyone transition into shorter days and earlier nights.

Luckily, resorts across the world have after-hours experiences to help meeting planners continue the event festivities long after the sun’s down. Here are five activities to help enhance that night-time fun:

HoopFit

Groups focusing on health and wellness at Well & Being at The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess can hula their way through the evening with HoopFit. The high-energy group fitness class combines cardiovascular and resistance training with light-up LED hoops for outdoor workouts under the starry Scottsdale, Ariz., sky.

Bioluminescent Bay Kayaking

Attendees can experience one of Puerto Rico’s three bioluminescent bays—bodies of water that contain millions of micro-organisms called dinoflagellates that glow whenever you touch them. The Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa works with Rico Sun Tours to coordinate nocturnal kayak excursions to witness the microscopic plankton light-up the waters in a glow-in-the-dark setting.

Glow-ga Yoga

Guests can also explore the bioluminescent bay on Vieques Island, located off the shore of Puerto Rico’s main island. At W Retreat & Spa – Vieques Island, attendees can practice glow-in-the-dark yoga and end the session with a glowing Bio Bay Cocktail, which fuses local star fruit, Puerto Rican rum, agave, orange bitters and glowing tonic.

Glow-Stick Golf Challenge

Golfing at night is possible at Well & Being at The Four Seasons Resort & Club Dallas at Las Colinas, with glow-sticks illuminating TPC Four Seasons Course. A quick “closest to the pin” golf competition is the ideal way to end a team dinner or cocktail hour.

Garden Jaunts & Nobility Tours

Groups visiting Aria Hotel Prague in the Czech Republic can take private tours of the oldest and most beautifully designed Baroque Palace. Led by a member of the noble family, the tours can coincide with an after-hours dinner or stroll through the UNESCO Vrtba Garden.

Group Glamping

La Tourelle Resort & Spa, located in The Finger Lakes Region of Central New York, offers a luxury glamping experience in tandem with Firelight Camps situated along the resort’s 70-acre property. After a day of meetings, attendees can join fellow campers at the lounge tent for a communal campfire and gourmet s’mores underneath the expansive stars above.
