This fall, groups can make the most of Canyon Ranch’s setting in the beautiful Berkshires with guided waterfall hikes.

With more than 30 falls in Western Massachusetts, waterfall hikes are an invigorating activity that’s also in line with Canyon Ranch’s mission inspiring health in mind, body and spirit.

“Our Walk Among the Waterfalls event offers guided hikes for every fitness level,” says Outdoor Sports Manager, Leah Larmon. “This is an opportunity to challenge your body, quiet your mind and experience the beauty of the Berkshires.”

The Canyon Ranch guides also publish a list of their favorite waterfall hikes, which attendees can also explore on their own. Among them is Bash Bish Falls, just east of the New York border and considered by many to be the most spectacular waterfall in Massachusetts. Advanced hikers can climb to the overlook of the 60-ft falls; however, all the recommended hikes are accessible to people of every fitness level. Another hike through Stevens Glen winds through an overgrown Christmas tree farm, over several wooden bridges and up a rocky hillside to a gorge, a quintessential New England scene.

Canyon Ranch is located in Lenox, Mass., halfway between Boston and New York City. The property is anchored by the fabulous Bellefontaine Mansion, built in 1897 as a replica of Louis XVI’s Petit Trianon. It includes a two-story solarium with meeting space and spacious guest lounges with fireplaces. The resort has several small meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate 70 people theater-style or 50 for a banquet.

The heart of Canyon Ranch is the 100,000-sf spa, which features services ranging from massage and therapeutic bodywork to Ayurvedic treatments. Combined with the Health & Healing Center, Canyon Ranch offers a stunning 225 health and fitness services, provided by a team of 60 wellness professionals.
