The Hub lobby concept

The new 410-room Le Meridien New Orleans opens this winter following an extensive $29 million refurbishment of the existing W New Orleans property, located in the Central Business District (CBD) near the French Quarter.

Recently uploaded on the hotel website, the new interior design photos illustrate a mix of warm modern colors and clean lines desperately needed in New Orleans.

The signature Le Meridien “Hub” lobby concept is another welcome addition to the CBD. It’s designed with a wealth of different styles of seating, different energy zones, an upscale coffee bar, art and art books, and an overall interconnected vibe to foster networking among guests and locals.

Another signature Le Meridien brand standard, the Unlock Art program is a partnership with local cultural institutions offering in-house groups special access and privileges. The specific partners have not been named at this time.

Artwork, design and wall calligraphy are inspired by the timeless elements of New Orleans culture, ranging from the wrought iron balconies to jazz music and Mardi Gras. On the lobby level, the floor-to-ceiling windows and plentiful natural light make this one of the more inviting lobbies for group socializing.

That’s all part of Le Meridien’s brand mission targeting creative professionals, among all age segments, seeking local immersion and a sense of place.

Le Meridien New Orleans anchors a great location too, midway between the French Quarter, Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Riverwalk  and Warehouse District.

Total meeting space is 15,000 sf, plus a popular rooftop pool venue available for private events.
