It seems Park MGM in Las Vegas is onto something when it comes to creative meetings.

The property’s Ideation Studio and Madison Meeting Center were just named the newest members of IACC, an exclusive group of 300 venues in 26 countries that represent the top 1 percent of meeting spaces worldwide. And it’s the first property located on the Vegas Strip to become part of the elite meetings association.

The property’s 77,000 sf of space is popular for its customizable Park Theater, but even more so for its less-traditional, smaller meeting venues that create an innovative backdrop for brainstorming sessions and training programs. For instance, its 10,000-sf Madison Meeting Center features 10 flexible rooms, two self-service lounges, moveable furniture, built-in audiovisual equipment and rolling whiteboards.

Topping that off is the 7,000-sf Ideation studio, which opened earlier this month as one of the first hotels in the world to offer groups Cisco Webex Boards and Cisco Webex Teams. That means digital messages, notes, files and presentations can be shared across devices owned by attendees in the room as well as those attending the meeting virtually.

Because 80 percent of MGM Resorts’ groups typically book 100 rooms or less, Park MGM built these spaces to show its commitment to providing small groups innovative spaces.

“The designs of Park MGM’s Madison Meeting Center and Ideation Studio have taken into consideration many of the trends and preferences from meeting planners that IACC has identified through its research,” says Mark Cooper, IACC’s CEO. “The Park MGM leadership team has poured so much dedication and passion into developing a haven for small meetings, and we look forward to bringing our own events to these inspiring meeting spaces in the future.”
