With a tucked-away location situated on 39 acres of beachfront property along Santa Maria Bay near Mexico’s Cabo San Lucas, the 122-room Montage Los Cabos recently opened for groups looking to relax, escape—and swim.

“Offering expansive indoor and outdoor event space, Montage Los Cabos is an ideal oceanfront venue for events of all sizes—from corporate conferences and creative team-building events to intimate retreats,” says the property’s General Manager Marco Ortlam. “With the resort’s ideal location on Santa Maria Bay—one of the only swimmable beaches in the region—paired with Montage’s remarkable service, meeting goers and planners alike are guaranteed a memorable and artful experience.”

With walk-in access to the turquoise waters along the southern-most tip of the Baja Peninsula, Montage Los Cabos is especially ideal for adventurous groups in search of nearby snorkeling and diving opportunities in between meetings. It also brings a sense of luxury with its location in the 1,400-acre Twin Dolphin community, named after the former Hotel Twin Dolphin, an exclusive retreat for Hollywood’s 1970s-era elite, including Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Lucile Ball, Bing Crosby and John Wayne.

A 40,000-sf Spa Montage, three pools, tennis course and soon-to-debut (this fall) 18-hole Fred Couples Signature golf course will entertain groups between meeting in the property’s more than 35,000 sf of indoor and outdoor event space. Healthy cuisine is also top of mind at the resort, with seasonal menus available through a partnership between the Montage brand and celebrity nutritionist Kelly LeVeque. The resort’s contemporary design also brings in the local Mexican culture through bold shapes and colors.
