Tropical colors of sun and sea splash across the newly rebranded Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort skirting the edge of Downtown Disney. Much of the hotel was designed for group business in mind during the recent $25 million renovation and expansion.
Palm-lined pools, cascading waterfalls and a rectangular 15-foot firepit filled with royal blue fire rocks light up evening receptions for 300 pax in the 27 Palms Pool Club outdoor patio. Indoors, an additional 10,000 sf of ballroom and pre-function space were added to the existing ballroom and breakout rooms.
“If you don’t need 50,000 sf of space, we’re your hotel,” says Russ Flicker, managing partner for Winston Harton Holdings. “The market has lacked a hotel our size… and our atmosphere, level of service and personal attention is a real differentiator.” John Staub, senior sales manager, adds, “When a group of 350 comes here, they will have our full attention.”
Coconut, mango and citrus colors permeate the hotel’s decor, restaurants and the Top of the Palm Spa. For F&B options, the poolside 27 Palms Grille and Springboard Marketplace cater to quick, tasty and delicious meals.
Zest is the fine dining restaurant themed around local Florida flavors. Executive Chef Patrick DeBlasio’s “citrus-infused” menu includes intriguing entrees such as passionfruit flat-iron chicken, huckleberry-rubbed filet mignon and pomegranate-glazed salmon.
And at the Top of the Palm Spa, try the 80-minute Bamboo Palm Indulgence treatment using powdered bamboo, bamboo extracts, cedar wood, jasmine, chamomile and coconut oil.
