A new experience at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade
In 2010, Universal Orlando Resort brought the wonder, excitement and adventure of the Harry Potter books and films to life for the first time with the opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. The expansion of the global phenomenon continued in 2014 with the launch of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter—Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida—allowing meeting attendees to experience even more extraordinary moments from Harry Potter’s magical world. With the Hogwarts Express connecting both lands, providing guests the opportunity to board the iconic train and relive Harry’s unforgettable journey, Universal Orlando created the world’s first centrally-themed, multi-park experience.
Opening in 2019 at Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park, the new experience will become Universal’s most highly-themed coaster yet—immersing guests in an all-new adventure that is the next installment of the Wizarding World brought to life at Universal Orlando Resort.
Universal’s Endless Summer Resort
Universal Orlando’s Surfside Inn and Suites & Dockside Inn and Suites are on the way. These two properties make up Universal’s Endless Summer Resort, and when completed they’ll add 2,800 new rooms and suites to our growing, world-class destination. Surfside Inn and Suites is the first hotel of Universal’s Endless Summer Resort to open July 2019 and Dockside Inn and Suites will open in 2020. Located on the corner of Universal Boulevard and International Drive, Universal’s Endless Summer Resort will be perfect for rooms-only groups.
Meeting Enhancements
Imagine Optimus Prime opening a meeting and introducing a CEO, or staging a meeting interruption by the Minions to excite and reengage attendees. Planners can bring the excitement of Universal Orlando’s world-class theme parks to their next meeting. Available exclusively to planners who host meetings at Universal Orlando’s hotels, Meeting Enhancements allow planners to create compelling experiences that directly connect attendees to the meeting message in impactful ways that engage, inspire and entertain. Meeting Enhancements utilize options like branded and custom character moments, as well as inspirational atmospheres to create one-of-a-kind experiences. Universal Orlando characters can be used for meet and greets, meeting openers, speaker introductions, meeting interruptions, excitement builders, ice breakers, and more.
The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle
The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle is a projection mapping experience at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade in Universal’s Islands of Adventure. This breathtaking enhancement is the perfect way to end an event. Attendees will be amazed as Hogwarts castle is transformed into a dazzling display of lights, special effects and music. Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff will all be represented, each house showcasing its house pride in its own unique way.
Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration
Another great way to cap off an evening event in the parks, this epic new show lights up the night at Universal Studios Florida. You’ll see a colossal celebration of music, water and light that transforms the park and takes you into the movies like never before. Hear roaring dinosaurs from Jurassic World, feel the adrenaline rush of high-speed cars from Fast & Furious, watch the mischievous antics of the Minions from Illumination’s Despicable Me, and so much more.
