Le Mas Candille

Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) announced three newly opened properties earlier this month, taking groups in search of intimate, luxury retreats from Southern California to the French Riviera to China.

Honor Resort Yun Shun Dali; Dali, China

This 23-room boutique property is situated along Erhai Lake on the outskirts of China’s Dali Ancient Town. Its location provides easy access to one of the country’s most beautiful golf courses at nearby Canghai Golf International Community as well as to the ancient buildings and temples that date back to the Ming dynasty. Onsite, attendees can enjoy the property’s cantilevered pool, a virtual golf simulator, and a wine and cigar bar—touting some of the finest cigar brands from around the world. Plus, attendees can visit the tea house for a game of chess and a pot of freshly brewed, loose-leaf tea. All rooms and suites at Honor Dali include private terraces and spacious living areas, ideal for top execs.

Le Mas Candille; Mougins, France

Le Mas Candille situates attendees in the midst of 8 acres of Provencal grounds, complete with picturesque cypress trees and fields of olive groves. The property was originally an 18th century farmhouse, so attendees can stay in its 38 rooms or seven suites, complete with shabby-chic French antiques. Plus, it features an onsite Michelin-star restaurant that has a chef’s table experience for attendees to dine on fresh Mediterranean fare and sip on Champagne. Groups can even take advantage of the three glistening, swimming pools located in Mougins, the medieval Riviera village that was once home to Pablo Picasso. For fit members of the group, a major highlight is the property’s outdoor gym, where you can enjoy views of the scenery while working out.

The Pantai Inn; La Jolla, Calif.

The 30 suites and cottages that make up The Pantai Inn, situated along the shores of La Jolla coastline, bring a touch of Balinese-inspired décor into the quintessential oceanfront setting. Hand-carved wood and patterned fabrics in the guest rooms match the Balinese statues that adorn the lush, property gardens. Even more: The one-bedroom cottages feature oversized bathrooms, complete with their own Jacuzzis.
