The 474-room Naples Grande Beach Resort in Florida debuts a transformation to its 83,000 sf of meeting space on Sept. 23.

The $3 million renovation brings the latest technologies to the space, with digital signage placed outside each meeting room and an improved portable microphone system for better output. Even more, large groups will appreciate the installation of additional access points, which means increased Wi-Fi coverage on the ballroom level, as well as cellphone charging stations available in the main foyer.

“Our meeting and event spaces are one of our greatest strengths,” says Frank Cavella, director of sales and marketing at the property. “Customers love that everything is on one floor and has an abundance of natural light with excellent lines of sight. This renovation further improves our positioning by enhancing our technology systems and design.”

Speaking of design, the refreshed space touts a coastal theme, paying tribute to the resort’s 23 waterfront acres and adjacent 200-acre nature preserve. Ocean-inspired blues mix with the greens and neutral colors of the lush mangroves surrounding the property.

Groups staying at the resort will especially enjoy the 14,442-sf Royal Palm Ballroom, with upgraded wall coverings and a new track and trolley system to easily divide the space into up to eight meeting rooms. Enhanced features of the Royal Palm and Orchid Foyers include custom lighting, new furniture and large-scale wall art installations. And even the built-in registration desk received an upgrade, with a redesigned window partition, molding and fresh paint, ensuring a warm welcome for attendees upon arrival.

“We strongly believe that with this debut, we have elevated the standards for meetings and events in Naples,” says Cavella. “With our top-of-the-line upgrades in technology, lighting and sound, combined with the stylish redecorated spaces, we’re looking to surprise and delight our existing customers and attract an array of new event planners, seeking for a fresh new alternative — not only to our resort, but to Naples as a destination.”
