Set in the Utah Rockies, the Zermatt Resort offers outside the box mountain immersion at its best.

Groups meeting at the 329-room resort can choose from a range of innovative team building options. Skiing, tubing and zip lining are all available during the winter season, while summer visitors can enjoy fly-fishing, horseback riding and a choice of three golf courses.

Innovative Learning Programs

The 329-room Zermatt Resort & Spa offers 65,000 sf of event space, including the new Learning Center, which offers corporate groups a tailor-made experiential learning program. Programs include a “Drone Obstacle Course,” where groups work together to guide the latest flying technology through a challenging course. Another option is the “Mystical Performance” where they learn magic tricks and then sell the illusion to their colleagues.

“Corporations need to get value out of corporate education and conventions,” says Maxine Jensen, director of international tourism and travel. “They are tired of the same old same old. The Learning Center at Zermatt offers a new approach with insightful and valuable tools to help companies develop, retain and inspire their staff.”

Geothermal Spring

Another unique activity for groups is a visit to the Homestead Crater in Midway, a geothermal spring hidden within a 55-ft beehive-shaped limestone rock. Groups can swim, snorkel and scuba dive in the mineral water, or take a paddleboard yoga class.

Ice Castles

Midway also boasts its own unique ice castle during the winter season, located just across the street from the Zermatt Resort. Created from 25 million pounds of ice and spanning an acre of icy real estate, attendees can explore the awe-inspiring structure and enjoy fire performances and other activities.
