The AC Hotels by Marriott brand brings a taste of Europe to Phoenix’s Biltmore area, with the opening of the 160-room AC Hotel Phoenix Biltmore earlier this month.

This is the first hotel to open in the Biltmore area in more than 20 years, and it’s the brand’s second hotel in the Phoenix area. The property will follow the same philosophy of other AC Hotels by creating an environment that gives attendees the opportunity to connect in its three core public spaces—AC Lounge, AC Kitchen and AC Library—in addition to its more than 5,000 sf of dedicated meeting space.

The AC Lounge is essentially the hotel’s living room, where attendees can co-work in between meetings and then meet for cocktails later in the evening. A menu of tapas also make it an ideal place to get a bite. The space even extends outdoors, so attendees can gather by a firepit to enjoy Phoenix’s warm weather. The AC Kitchen is ideal for breakfast, serving up European-style fare that consists of French croissants and artisan-cured meats.

Looking for something a bit quieter? Step inside the AC Library for a relaxed setting, decked out with books lining the shelves that range in topics from modern art to design. This spot also takes the place of a business center, providing attendees with computers and printers that are available 24/7.

Attendees also won’t have to venture far to popular area attractions within walking distance: the Biltmore Fashion Park Shopping Center and Frank Lloyd Wright–designed Arizona Biltmore Resort and Golf Course.
