Inspiring Tablescapes

tablescapesWhen the event industry came to a halt, the team from plan A, a Los Angeles–based corporate event agency, got together to do what they do best—create and design. In this case, they turned the focus to creative themed tablescapes.

These curated tablescapes, which were inspired by company owner Tarin Wilson’s travels, are intended to evoke the sights, sounds and tastes of various destinations and themes; Moroccan Getaway, Mediterranean Blue, Wine Country Chic, Picnic Fiesta, Asian Serenity and Secret Garden Tea Party (see above).

“What began as a way to flex our creative muscles during the quarantine turned into a reflection on connection,” Wilson said. “Gathering around the table is the literal and figurative meaning of an event. Whether it’s a meeting, conference, social event or even a dinner party, the connection to others and the exchange of ideas and information is what happens when we come to the table.

“The beautiful tables reminded them that events are an antidote to isolation and something magical occurs when you break bread together,” she added.

Wilson looks forward to the time when meeting attendees will once again connect at large group events, which her company is used to doing for clients such as Venice Community Housing, the Beverly Hills Courier and YPO. Plan A is known for its expertise in all types of events: meetings, trade shows, award shows, branding events, consumer events and more.

Meanwhile, she hopes these beautiful tablescapes will be an inspiration for planners everywhere.
