5 New Packages Enhance Snowbasin Resort Meetings

Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville, Utah is gearing up for fall and winter meetings with these five breakaway packages for groups staying at its sister property, the 775-room Grand America Hotel.

Campfire Collective

Groups looking to experience the Wasatch mountains in true mountain-town style should participate in the Campfire Collective package. Attendees will catch Needles Gondola to the top of the mountain, where a full bar, appetizers and live acoustic music awaits as well as a backyard-style buffet featuring traditional barbecue fare such as Western elk loin, buffalo brisket and Western American Wagyu prime rib. S’mores, cowboy poets, Western storytellers and yard games round out the experience.

Culinary Expeditions & Interactive Learning

The culinary team at Snowbasin will share tradecraft secrets with attendees participating in this interactive culinary experience. After attendees learn cooking techniques, they will be seated for a dinner that includes a night of entertainment.

Fiesta-Out-Westa

Groups again will take Needles Gondola to Needles Lodge to experience the Fiesta-Out-Westa package. This includes a Mexican-themed event with a margarita bar, Mexican buffet, salsa bar with seven types of salsa and a live Spanish acoustic guitarist. A mariachi band will keep attendees entertained into the evening with churro making and storytelling.

Private Concert

A permanent stage base that faces up the mountain makes Snowbasin Resort an ideal spot for a private concert, which can be arranged by the resort (with enough time). Before the show, a full dinner buffet will be set up, while the beer garden will be serving libations throughout the evening as attendees watch the show from the manicured lawn.

Shellfish 101

For groups that don’t know much about shellfish, this live demonstration will surely set them straight. In the Shellfish 101 package, attendees will learn how to cut, shell, prepare, season and cook shellfish before being split into teams to test their skills. Once finished, they will sit down to a dinner themed around the shellfish dishes, with the addition of a raw bar.
