Exhale NoMad

On November 21, exhale, the wellness brand best known for its boutique fitness classes and spa therapies opened up its newest location in New York City’s NoMad area at 31 East 32nd Street and an innovative product that caught our attention was a popular addition to its grand opening cocktail reception. All who were on hand to toast exhale’s newest location were given a pair of monogrammed non-slip socks that are great for yoga. Lisa Smith, founder of The Monogrammer NYC, was on hand with a custom embroidery machine and personalized each pair as guests looked on.

Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne

Debra Dohnert, CMP, senior manager, meetings and special events, governance, for the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, orchestrated an event at the Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne, for a group of 300 mostly female and millennial members of AICPA’s state society program. The event space in the hotel was decorated to evoke the artsy Wynwood neighborhood of Miami, and she created a multi-flavored vodka bar featuring straws that changed color during the sipping process.  The straws, truly an innovative product, were supplied by Go-2 Products, and she had them personalized with the message, “Celebrate Life in Color.”

Drink, Design, Dine

Visit Victoria and Wine Victoria recently held an event in a private loft space in New York City that highlighted its stellar wine region. In addition to a formidable wine tasting, a professional horticulture artist was on hand to teach how to draw a flower. Each participant was given a tote bag, and in it was a portable easel with a Melbourne, Victoria logo subtly displayed on the back, color pencils, and a dried flower to examine with the hope that its details would make it onto the canvas.

During a recent media event in New York City, Visit Savannah took over the Midtown Loft and Terrace, where F&B highlights of the city were dished out. From sumptuous short ribs to Leopold’s ice cream that was serving the same homemade ice cream it has been making since 1919, and craft beer from Service Brewing Co., the night featured a delectable taste of Savannah as well as local innovative products that guests could place in totes to enjoy at home.
