Piggybacking its Imagine That promotion, Marriott’s new Time to Celebrate promotion also offers groups a way to experience the traditions and cultures of Latin America for less, but they need to act fast.
Groups booking the 168 participating hotels throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America will be eligible for the booking promotion this fall. Meeting planners doing so will receive:
- 5 percent off catering
- Double rewards points
- An upgraded beverage package
- One complimentary staff room

Once booked, meeting planners can look forward to a wide variety of experiential offerings for groups. The ancient Inca-inspired spa treatments at the 153-room JW Marriott El Convento Cusco in Peru can be incorporated into meeting breaks, while onsite activities include historic tours and ancient ceremonies as well as contemporary cooking lessons. The new 299-room JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa blends the textures and textiles of Mexico throughout its interior design while a Mexican fine dining restaurant will enhance the flavors of the area. Top execs will be able to experience the 45-room Griffin Club, essentially a hotel within a hotel with private facilities that include a movie theater, on-call butler service, private beach and pool and reserved Jasha Spa areas.
