Marriott International has taken the wraps off its first newly built tri-branded property, located across from downtown Nashville’s Music City Convention Center.

Developed by North Point Hospitality, the 21-story, $140 million property features three Marriott brands – AC Hotels, Residence Inn, and SpringHill Suites.

“The three brands were chosen because they complement each other well in their different categories,” said Gina Peper, VP of sales and marketing for North Point Hospitality. “AC being a distinctive brand, the Residence Inn as an extended stay, and SpringHill Suites is a classic select brand, so we are able to attract different needs from a variety of travelers.”

The 209-room AC Hotel Nashville Downtown features a lounge offering craft beers and cocktails, while The Residence Inn Nashville Downtown/Convention Center has 136 suites, and offers separate living and work spaces. The 125-room SpringHill Suites Nashville Downtown/Convention Center features separate living, working, and sleeping spaces.

In total, the property offers more than 9,000 sf of flexible meeting space, including nearly 4,000 sf of dedicated meeting space on the 21st floor.

“In pre-opening group sales alone, the triple brand surpassed all expectations with over $10 million on the books prior to opening,” Peper said.

According to Peper, North Point Hospitality chose Nashville for it’s strong, dynamic market that has “multiple demand generators.”

“Due to the depth of the market, Nashville provided an opportunity to create multiple brands under one roof and create economies on both the development and operations side,” Peper said.

Though this is Marriott’s first triple-branded property in the US built from the ground up, the company now has 98 properties with two brands, with 144 more under development worldwide.
