An inside peek at 4 luxury hotel suites that will make a lasting impression on your VIP group.

Luxury hotel suites provide the ideal setting for an opening cocktail reception. Not only do they deliver the wow factor and lend a sense of exclusivity, but they allow guests to stay within the hotel on the first night of the event. Following are four standout suites.

Marylebone Suite at The Marylebone, London

Offering impressive city views is the The Marylebone Suite at The Marylebone in London. Located in the middle of this capital city, The Marylebone Suite features a 430-sf open-air terrace large enough to host an intimate gathering. The space comes complete with sofas, Eames-inspired chairs, a gas fireplace and a TV. With built-in heating and a retractable roof, guests can enjoy this space year-round. Inside the 1,290-sf suite, guests will find a dual aspect lounge with a concealed mirrored TV, a dining area and private bar, plus a separate dressing area and kitchenette.

Tokyo Suite at the Park Hyatt Tokyo

With floor-to-ceiling windows in almost every room, the residence-like Tokyo Suite at the Park Hyatt Tokyo rises 50 floors above the city offering views of its skyline with Japan’s highest mountain, Mt. Fuji, making an appearance in the distance. Decorated with the aura of a private apartment, this 2,368-sf accommodation is adorned with a Miao headdress and wash lanterns, plus a baby grand piano in the living room and a library collection with 1,000 books.

With a spiral staircase and a rooftop deck, guests in this suite can even watch the ball drop on New Year’s Eve, while inside they’ll find bespoke lighting, leather furnishings, and a modern bathroom featuring granite countertops, a heated floor, double sinks, an integrated 19-inch mirrored television, and jacuzzi. Designed with entertaining in mind, the living room includes a fireplace with an adjacent dining area that offers outdoor balcony access.

Penthouse Suite at the Almanac Barcelona

Last year, Barcelona’s Eixample district welcomed the Almanac Barcelona to its hotel landscape, and with it came the property’s Penthouse Suite. Featuring two bedrooms with separate bathrooms and a walk-in wardrobe, plus a boardroom or dining room for six, a powder room and a living room, the Penthouse Suite measures 2,200 sf. Outside, visitors will find a private terrace with space for entertaining guests, as well as an outdoor shower.
