That is why Sabatino Truffles in New York City was the ideal event venue for the Monaco Government Tourist Office to celebrate Monaco’s National Day. A truffle and champagne reception was attended by some of the top travel advisors and meeting planners based in New York City. Sabatino Truffles lies below a towering truffle tree set on East 54th Street. As you reach the bottom of the stairs, you are immersed in the intoxicating smell of fresh truffles. Once inside, you are surrounded by everything truffle. Taking center stage is a glass-enclosed plate of truffles. Today, truffles are among the most expensive natural foods in the world.
Guests watched as Chef Paolo Amadori of Restaurant La Forge, Ramatuelle, France prepared dishes showcasing the fungi with skill. He worked hand-in-hand with his wife, Francesca Alessi.
On the tantalizing menu was Salmon Carpaccio over a Creamy Buratta, Balsamic Vinegar Periage and White Truffle; Jerusalem Artichoke Veloute and White Truffle; Beef Tartare, Anchovy and Caper Mayonnaise and Black Truffle; Â Prosciutto di Parma, Martini Dry Sauce and Black Truffle; Artichoke Flan, Crispy Artichoke and Truffle Zest; Egg over a Parmigiano Reggiano Fondue, Spinach and White Truffle; Tortellini Filled with Goat Cheese and Smoked Eggplant, Sweet White Onion Sauce, Toasted Hazelnuts and Black Truffle; Pannacotta, Pistachio Sauce and White Truffle.
In attendance were Hon. Gildo Pallanca Pastor, Consul General of Monaco in New York; Guy Antognelli and Sandrine Camia of the Monaco Government Tourist Authority; Cathleen Kelley and Bernadette Skubly Butts of Monte-Carlo Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer;  as well as Brisa Trinchero of the Princess Grace Foundation-USA.
