AC Hotel Kingston also offers 18,000 sf of meeting and banquet facilities, making it the largest meeting space in the city and one that can cater to groups of all sizes—a major plus to the wider Caribbean region.
Along with the expectation of having a positive effect on the country’s tourism sector, the 219-room hotel can host small meetings or groups of up to 600 people in an ambiance that blends the brand’s modern, artful vibe with Jamaica’s vibrancy. Throughout the hotel, attendees will find art by Jamaican artists and one-of-a-kind furnishings that have also been locally made. The AC Lounge is ideal for co-working and brainstorming, while attendees will have no shortage of innovative European-Jamaican fusion food and beverage programming and local experiences.
AC Hotel Kingston Jamaica is ownded by Adam Stewart, deputy chairman of Sandals Resorts International and ATL Group of Companies, and his family, who “are determined to play our part in building the economy in the Caribbean,” Stewart says. “This is a monumental occasion as we venture beyond the beach to establish our first AC Hotel by Marriott.
