Resorts World opened for business on June 24 as the Las Vegas Strip’s first new ground-up resort development to debut in more than a decade. The integrated complex that makes up Resorts World opened with 3,500 luxury guest rooms and suites from three of Hilton’s premium brands: Conrad, LXR and Hilton.
Of the Resorts World opening, Frank Passanante, Senior Vice President Hilton Worldwide Sales – Americas, said, “The Las Vegas Hilton is emerging on the Strip 50 years after the original iconic Las Vegas Hilton opened in 1971. It’s an incredible reflection of the vitality of these three brands, and an exciting time for the meetings industry.”
Each of the three Hilton brands that comprise the complex have separate entrances, lobbies and a variety of guest rooms and suites. The 1,774 full-service guest rooms and suites Las Vegas Hilton at Resorts World range from 400 to 3,300 square feet. The Conrad Las Vegas at Resorts World has 1,496 guest rooms and suites ranging from 550 to 2,800 square feet, and the Crockfords Las Vegas, LXR Hotels & Resorts features 236 super-luxe guest rooms and suites, all of which include upscale amenities and personalized service. All of the venue’s properties include cutting-edge advances such as mobile check-in, digital keys and an AI-powered digital concierge named Red. The Strip also just got a bit brighter with the complex’s more-than 200,000 square feet of LED displays, including one of the largest LED displays in the U.S., the 100,000-square-foot West Tower screen. The complex is on the Loop, a new underground transportation system created by Elon Musk’s Boring Company. Attendees can hop on all-electric Teslas to be whisked to the nearby Las Vegas Convention Center, as well as dining, retail and nightlife on the Strip.
The complex also includes 250,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, including the Lily Ballrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Strip and the Rose Ballroom, which features a spacious outdoor terrace. It also has more than 40 food and beverage outlets, and a 5,000-person concert and entertainment venue that can host conventions and corporate events as well as concerts and sports. For the gamers, the complex has a 117,000-square-foot casino featuring slots, table games, a dedicated poker room, high-limit areas and a sportsbook.
Other amenities include the largest pool deck in Las Vegas, a 5.5-acre pool complex with seven pools, including an infinity pool, as well as a 27,000-square-foot spa. There also is plenty for shoppers, including 70,000 square feet of retail space housing two levels of boutique shops. Resorts World, in partnership with Singapore’s Zouk Group, also offers a Zouk Nightclub and AYU Dayclub in its entertainment complex.
