Meeting planners looking for a certain je ne sais quoi in Vegas can now find it at Park MGM in the form of NoMad Las Vegas, essentially a luxe resort within a resort.

The 293-room NoMad opened in October, offering a certain level of sophistication, comfort and privacy on the top four floors of the massive Park MGM. Designed by French architect Jacques Garcia, it feels very European, featuring custom-designed furnishings, hardwood floors and original artwork curated by a Parisian design studio.

The resort’s F&B is brought to the next level, too, following in the footsteps of the New York and Los Angeles NoMad properties, with James Beard—award-winning Humm and Guidara’s Make It Nice at the helm. Not only does the NoMad Bar feature all-day dining curated by Chef Humm, but it also features a design inspired by classic French theater. Yes, that means a velvet Austrian sheer curtain enveloping the bar.

Even the property’s casino screams luxury from its location under the famous Tiffany glass ceiling, original to the previous Monte Carlo property. And it features high-energy gaming, offering blackjack, baccarat and roulette. Of course for meetings, groups can meet in the property’s about 2,000 sf of indoor space as well as enjoy an evening event outside on the pool deck. That’s in addition to the massive 77,000 sf of space available at Park MGM, including its new Ideation Studio.

Next up: a garden-like pool oasis that draws inspiration from the Majorelle Gardens of Morocco will debut in spring 2019.
