New ship upgrades and cultural excursions from AmaWaterways.
Debuting next year, the AmaMagna is AmaWaterways’ newest and most innovative ship to date, and is nearly double the width of traditional river cruise ships. Exclusive to the AmaMagna is the new “Concierge Golf Program,” which allows groups to experience top-level golf courses in Hungary, Slovakia, Austria and Germany.
AmaWaterways also recently expanded its wellness program, which is set to go fleet-wide across Europe and Southeast Asia next year. The program is led by a dedicated wellness host on each ship whose role is to inspire groups to achieve their fitness goals in fresh and engaging ways. Group fitness classes are available, as well as informative lectures relating to holistic wellness.
Immersive Land Excursions
“AmaWaterways continues to innovate and build on their current list of amenities and tours to give groups authentic cultural experiences while sailing onboard,” says Alex Pinelo, VP of national accounts at AmaWaterways. “During the pre- and post- seasons, they are able to offer many concessions to groups to customize their itinerary to their particular wants and needs.”
They’ve also enhanced excursions to provide immersive cultural experiences on the river. Groups can expect optional pre-cruise land extensions for every cruise next year, with exciting ways to explore cities such as Amsterdam, Budapest, Lucerne, Munich, Zurich and Reykjavik.
