“Wake Up and Smell The Perks” at Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club

If you are considering conducting a meeting or program in Florida, you should check out the “Wake Up and Smell The Perks” group promotion that is being offered by The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club.

Available to new bookings for programs between April 1st and December 19th, 2013, or June 1st through December 19th of any year, the promotion provides up to 12 additional complimentary “perks” for booking 10 or more rooms for a minimum of two peak nights. To take advantage of the promotion, the contract must be signed by March 31, 2013. The 125-acre resort, which features 34,000 square feet of first-class meeting space plus many beautiful outdoor venues, is Southwest Florida’s only resort directly on the beach with an on-site championship golf course, a world-class spa, and an award-winning tennis center.

The resort is finishing up the final touches of its latest phase of renovations, which includes the opening of a new Gulf-view ballroom named The Everglades Room, the complete renovation of the remaining guest rooms in the resort’s Florida Wing, and the complete renovation of the resort’s Gulf-side meeting rooms and pre-function space. This $5 million latest phase of improvements follows $40 million spent by the resort over the last five years. That multi-phase project included the renovation and remodeling of the other guest rooms and suites, the renovation and expansion of The Sunset Beach Bar & Grill, and the addition (in 2010) of a beautiful new beachfront pool complex (with two new pools).

The “Wake Up and Smell The Perks” promotion provides: one complimentary standard guest room per 30 actualized; one upgrade to a resort view suite at the daily group rate, per 50 actualized; one complimentary VIP round-trip airport transfer; complimentary Internet in guest rooms and general session room; 10% off AVI audio/visual services (minimum applies); spa service discount booklets for groups; from $25 per person golf rate (18 holes), with free tournament coordination; $5 per person tennis (1 hour); and 15% discount on current banquet menus.

In addition, when the peak nights are Sunday through Thursday only, the promotion also includes:  a complimentary one-hour reception; groups booking 100 peak room nights or more will receive a 4% credit to the master account; and two VIP complimentary round-trip airport transfers. The complimentary reception will include a combination of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, to be calculated based on actualized peak room block at the time of the reservation cut-off date, as well as house brand beverages. The group may elect to upgrade or add to the selections and/or may extend the reception time for additional charges.

Also, the resort always provides to its groups and guests no resort fees, free parking, and free fitness center admission.

To qualify for the “Wake Up and Smell The Perks” promotion, the booking must be new, and it must be through a qualified corporation, association or third party/travel company. Blackout dates and restrictions apply. To qualify, there must be a minimum of 10 rooms on peak nights, with a minimum of two peak nights. Also, a food & beverage minimum and an attrition clause are required in the agreement. Complimentary guest room internet is restricted to attendees who book inside the group block. The audio/visual discount is valid with a minimum of $300 per program; and the spa, golf and tennis discounts are available to individual or group programs. Appointments and/or tee times for spa and golf are based on availability at the time of request. No further value will be extended for non-available times. The 4% credit (from sleeping rooms only) will be based on master account charges, and the credit will be posted against the final bill only.
