The theme for the Nov/Dec Prevue online issue is Innovation, and we think you will find the articles to be an inspiration.

In the Nov/Dec Prevue online issue, read about hotels, cruises, destinations, venues and more, with the goal of inspiring new ways of thinking about your events.

Innovative meetings are centered on creativity and the ability to generate ideas. They allow all team members to participate, brainstorm and share ideas. They are creative from start to finish.

In the cover story, Senior Editor Andrea Doyle explores innovation, a popular business buzzword meaning to make changes in something established, especially by introducing new methods, ideas, or products. Innovative meetings also make financial sense as multiple studies reveal that creative companies perform better.

“The fact is creativity and innovation are crucial for success, and your surroundings affect these meeting elements. If you’ve ever sat in a cubicle, conference room, or training session that’s just beige and windowless and you come away feeling drained, then you understand how your environment can contribute to your ability to generate fresh, creative thinking,” explains Lee Gimpel, founder of Better Meetings, a meeting design, facilitation, and training company based in Washington, DC.

In the issue, see what’s innovative in Texas, the Western US, and the Southeast, as well as among all-inclusives and the cruise lines. And meet our 2019 Visionary Award Winners, given annually to acknowledge the forward-thinking destinations, hotels & resorts, cruise lines and airlines of the industry. The entire team at Prevue is honored to recognize these innovators in the meetings and incentives industry as voted on by our readership and esteemed Advisory Board.
