Attendees staying at Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts in the near future may be turning heads as hotel team members walk by in the latest fashion.
The hotel brand is amping up its look to be showcased as part of New York Fashion Week on Sept. 12. New York-based design team Timo Weiland was tasked with the project of creating a fashionable uniform collection for Crown Plaza hotel team members, and that MOMENTUM by Timo Weiland for Crowne Plaza collection will come to life in the form of 20 to 25 signature looks being showcased in a runway show. Even more exciting for hotel team members is that five of their very own, who were selected for their commitment to service and pride in the Crown Plaza brand, will walk the runway alongside professional models.

The new wardrobe collection is just one element of the Crowne Plaza Accelerate program, a $200 million, three-year initiative geared to make the hotel brand more attractive for modern business travelers. Its design includes several versatile ensembles for each role at the company, emphasizing a modern, wearable aspect that makes it fun for hotel team members. Named MOMENTUM, the collection is meant to emphasize the brand’s cultural and technology-driven relevance. In addition to the MOMENTUM pieces, a curation of Timo Weiland’s signature classics will be blended in at the show to emphasize how seamless Weiland’s classic looks blend with the MOMENTUM collection.
