Bask with the Bedouin
During an outing with the Bedouin, Dubai’s oldest inhabitants, the traditions and secrets of those who roamed the Arabian Desert more than a century ago are explored. It begins with a camel caravan ride that takes groups to an authentic Bedouin village in the heart of the Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve, the largest unfenced nature reserve in the United Arab Emirates. Here, they can settle in for cooking demonstrations, Arabic coffee-making, falconry and henna painting.
Indulge in the Al Fahidi Historical District
The Arabian Tea House in the Al Fahidi Historical District, one of the oldest heritage sites in the city, offers its own blend of culture through more than 150 different types of tea, including mint lemonade or black tea with house herbs and fruit. This district is also one of the last wind tower quarters on the Arab side of the Gulf; a guided walking tour sees the conversion of the old buildings and their towers that funneled air down into the homes of the wealthy into shady cafes, art galleries, tucked away courtyards and quirky little shops. Groups can follow this up with a tour of the Dubai Museum, housed in the Al Fahidi Fort, the oldest existing building in the city. Artifacts here date as far back as 3,000 BC.
Be Immersed in a Unique Island Experience at
