The hotel company’s Polling for Cocktails menu features seven original drinks inspired by the political parties.
Omni Hotels & Resorts will encourage attendees to get political this fall with its Polling for Cocktails promotion. Attendees will be able to “vote” for their preferred presidential candidate by ordering election-themed drinks at all Omni restaurants from Sept. 6 to Nov. 8 (election night).
The hotel company’s Polling for Cocktails menu features seven original drinks inspired by the political parties. Republican voters will choose from three. The Right Manhattan is a delicious combination of Maker’s 46, apricot preserves and lemon juice topped with club soda and mint; the Trump-tini features Tito’s Handmade Vodka, lemon and cranberry juices, Domaine Chandon and a sugared rim; while the Ruby Red Pence features Deep Eddy Ruby Red grapefruit vodka, cranberry juice and St. Germain Elderflower liquer.
Democrats will also pick from three. The True Blue Mule is crafted using Tito’s Handmade Vodka, ginger beer and Blueberry Reàl Infused Syrup; the Hilla-rita is made up of Tres Generaciones Reposado Tequila, orange juice, agave and DeKuyper Amaretto, with a sugar and salt rim; and the Sugar Kaine Smash includes Maker’s 46, fresh mint leaves and simple syrup, finished with club soda and a cherry. For Independents, the POTUS Punch features Tito’s Handmade Vodka, grenadine, fresh orange and lemon juices, and blackberries. Votes will be tallied and uploaded to the hotel’s website every Wednesday.
While the drink menu will initiate the political conversation among attendees, Omni also has special golf offers at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort and Omni Mount Washington Resort through the end of the year to coincide with the historic election. Attendees can also Stay Like a President with a special 20.16 percent discount on one of Omni’s luxury suites from now through election night.
