Flanked by mountains, forest and beach, the iconic 17-Mile Drive along the Monterey Peninsula hints at what golfing groups can expect from Pebble Beach courses: twists, turns and jaw dropping dramatic backdrops.

The courses, which are as varied as the landscape and sprinkled in mansions that surround them, consistently anchor Golf Magazine’s best of the best in California list. The storied holes and cliffside fairways—dating back nearly a century—at Pebble Beach Resorts’ 18-hole Pebble Beach Golf Links course challenge AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and US Open Championship golfers. This course has seen the likes of Arnold Palmer, and his famous shots on the rocks, the rare snow dusting and numerous refinements that have brought it to its awe-inspiring state.

This summer, The Lodge at Pebble Beach, one of three Pebble Beach Resorts properties and home to Pebble Beach Golf Links, will unveil Fairway One at The Lodge, featuring 30 oversized guest rooms and two 4-bedroom cottages with fairway and partial ocean views, and more than 6,000 sf of meeting space. This adds to the property’s 144 guest rooms, 17 suites and 10,000 sf of meeting space. Fairway One’s wood-beamed ceilings and wood floors, stacked stone accents and soft color palette create an atmosphere that is primed for getting attendees’ heads in the game. North of The Lodge, Spyglass Hill Golf Course is another dandy, offering 18 holes that open with waves of sand dunes, and on a clear day, views of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Monterey Bay and the canopy of the Del Monte Forest.

Pebble Beach Resorts offers five courses in all and groups can also receive individual and custom training instruction, plan tournaments or partake in a club and putter fitting at the on-site Golf Academy & Practice Facility near The Lodge. The non-golfers in your group can go trail riding along 30 miles of beach, forest and dune trails with the Pebble Beach Equestrian Center, try their hands at stand-up paddleboarding or book a treatment at The Spa at Pebble Beach (adjacent to The Lodge), one of 47 spas in the world to receive the coveted Forbes Five-Star rating.
