Atlantic City’s casinos have the go-ahead to reopen on July 2 at 25 percent capacity. Among those resorts reopening are Hard Rock on July 2; Bally’s, Caesars, and Harrah’s Resort on July 3, and Borgata on July 6.
Hard Rock Atlantic City will reopen with the new ‘Safe + Sound’ program guidelines in place.
“Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming have made a tremendous commitment to sanitary protocols and a safety-first mentality for both guests and team members,” said Jim Allen, CEO of Seminole Gaming and Chairman of Hard Rock International, in a statement. “We are making sure our resorts are safe and sound so our guests and team members have peace of mind when they return.”
Included in those protocols is the requirement for all to wear masks and have their temperature scanned with thermal imaging technology before entering the property.

Caesars Entertainment’s Atlantic City properties will re-open in accordance with the directives from New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy. Bally’s, Caesars, and Harrah’s Resort’s health and safety plans were developed in accordance with guidance from both local and state health officials, as well as the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
On its gaming floors, Caesars, Bally’s, and Harrah’s Resort have rearranged slot machine banks to allow for social distancing, and fewer seats will allow for better spacing at table games. Additionally, all hospitality offerings and restaurants will reopen at reduced capacity in adherence with social distancing practices.
