Kimpton’s The Gray in Chicago will host the Transforming Meetings Summit August 27 to 28.

Want to shake up you meetings? Prevue’s Transforming Meetings Summit August 27 to 28 at The Gray in Chicago will be packed with hands-on workshops and experiences that leave you with the tools to do just that.

The keynoter at the Transforming Meetings Summit, James Feldman, is author of 14 books including Shift Happens and speaks to audiences around the world about innovation and thriving on change. In his two-part session, attendees will come up with creative, new approaches to three components of meetings—breaks, panels and one of their choice. The morning will be about stimulating ideas and, in the afternoon, the collective ideas will then be combined and reported out to the group using a World Café format.

Facilitator Patrick Parker-Roach of ThoughtRoads has used World Cafe and other formats with organizations ranging from the Society for Organizational Learning to the Department of Justice to Intel. In his session, attendees will experience two other creative meeting formats—Open Space and Dialogue—that they can use to accomplish specific business objectives such as networking, brainstorming and long-term improvements to corporate culture.

Other highlights include Josh Power of Power Event Group on how to drive engagement via your conference app and Sharon Fisher of Play With a Purpose on incorporating purposeful play into your meetings, which attendees will also experience—starting with the icebreaker on the opening evening.

As with all Prevue Summits, attendees receive CEUs from the Events Industry Council and registration, one night at The Gray and F&B are complimentary.
