Meet Well – Las Vegas January 27-29, 2018

ABOUT

January 27-29, 2018 MGM Grand Stay Well
Las Vegas

Meet Well, an exclusive two-day event hosted by Prevue in partnership with the Incentive Research Foundation, will bring 20 hand-selected senior-level meeting and incentive planners together to explore best-in-class practices for integrating wellness into events. If you—and your company—are passionate about wellness, this is the conference for you!

Among the highlights:

• You will be the first to explore “Purposeful Interior Design” as it relates to meetings and events, courtesy of Debra Duneier of EcoChi. Learn to blend modern evidence-based design principles (such as biomimicry and environmental psychology) with millennia-old design strategies (i.e. Chinese feng shui) to transform meeting spaces to enhance learning and well-being.

• Get the first look at the 2018 Trends in Incentives and Meetings paper by the Incentive Research Foundation and presented by CEO Melissa VanDyke.

• Deconstruct a banquet menu during a workshop led by Tracy Stuckrath of Thrive! Meetings & Events.

• Re-think one of your own events with a focus on stimulating the senses and integrating touches of wellness, during a session led by Dianne Devitt, NYU professor and head of DND Associates

• Experience firsthand how to incorporate yoga and mindfulness into an agenda by participating yourself.

• Enjoy MGM’s Stay Well Conference Center and spend two nights in a Stay Well room. Registration, accommodations and meals are provided, and attendees receive CEUs for their participation!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What makes Prevue's Visionary Summits different from other live events?

The entire event is designed as a chance to network! Sessions are highly interactive, and a rotating roundtable format literally forces participants to change seats throughout the day, giving them the chance to touch everyone in the room.

How do I qualify to attend a Visionary Summit?

Our attendees are invited and qualified by a series of questions. They come from throughout the country and pay their own airfares for the chance to experience this level of conference.

Do I receive CEUs for attending?

Prevue is a CIC Preferred Provider, and all Summits offer attendees 2.25 continuing educational credit hours.

Who will be attending the Visionary Summit?

Attendees are primarily corporate and association buyers/end users. We seek out experienced planners; the average years of planning experience at our most recent Summit was 18.

Is there a cost associated with attending the Visionary Summit?

The Visionary Summit is a COMPLIMENTARY event for qualified meeting planners (excluding airfare). Items provided include accommodations at the host property, food and beverage, and a cocktail reception the evening before the Summit.

May I arrive early or extend my stay?

Our host properties offer discounted hotel rates if you would like to extend your stay

May I bring a guest?

Guests are not included in the education program but you are welcome to bring a guest to enjoy the destination.

What should I wear?

We recommend Business Casual attire for the opening event and education day.

WHY ATTEND?

Visionary-Summit-NY-Pic
The designers of the Visionary Summits have spent the past 20 years creating education for all the leading industry associations, and saw a growing need for elevated education for experienced planners. Our goal has been to create top-notch sessions, to offer attendees input on the topics they wish to learn about, and to give them the change to speak freely with their equally experienced peers in a non-commercial setting.

Why attend?

  • Prevue’s Visionary Summits attract a high percentage of direct planners, so they can benchmark with each other about their departments and organizations. Our corporate planner attendees span every industry, from financial services to pharma to tech.
  • Our attendees bring years of knowledge to the table; the average attendee had 18 years of planning experience. To challenge this group, session topics are strategic, not logistical—from high-level budgeting to how the senses affect learning—and always interactive. Our approach is to tap the knowledge in the room, not speak down to them but to learn from them.
  • Planners receive an average of 5.5 CEUs from the Convention Industry Council for participating.
  • Our sponsor-planner ratio is intentionally the lowest of all events. Our sponsors are an active part of the conversation, participating in the roundtables and sharing their own experiences with the groups. This is not an appointment-focused event, it’s an educational one.
  • Our networking events and meals showcase the latest trends in the industry, from incorporating mixologists and chefs into the event to highlighting amenities with a socially responsible mission. Our goal is to give attendees fresh ideas to take back to their own meetings.

Prevue’s Summits unlike any other events in this industry. Learn why by attending one in 2017!
