Positioned along the Atlantic Coast, The Breakers Palm Beach continues to reimagine its luxury offering with a minimum annual investment of $25 million in resort improvements, an unrivaled financial commitment for a single hotel.
Founded in 1896 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 538-room, Italian Renaissance-style hotel has been family operated for 120 years by the heirs of founder Henry Flagler. Among its latest enhancements is the creation of the Flagler Club, a boutique hotel within a hotel that includes a private lounge and terrace with panoramic views, chauffeured private car service and complimentary food and drink throughout the day—not to mention a dedicated staff of 19 for personalized service.
Also new at The Breakers is a fully renovated spa, which includes a therapeutic heated sand-quartz bed for massages, a private courtyard with tropical greenery and water features, and a curated menu of treatments and products derived from organic ingredients.
“Luxury is having everything all on-site, and never having to set foot off property,” says Michele Wilde, director of conference services & events. “Attendees are convening at the same destination where they can also be pampered, yet the planner can deliver an entire group program with each meeting or activity taking place at a wholly unique and distinctive venue, so every experience on the itinerary has an exclusive backdrop.”
The property offers 80,000 sf of indoor and outdoor meeting space, including four ballrooms, outdoor courtyards and beachfront spaces.
