Event planners have a fresh slate of venues to consider as several hospitality brands across the U.S. debut new hotels or unveil major renovations with group business in mind. These properties feature flexible meeting space, upgraded guest accommodations and elevated amenities that support both business and leisure markets.
Events at Limelight Boulder
The newly opened Limelight Boulder is positioning itself as a meetings and events hub in Colorado, offering 26,000 sf of indoor and outdoor function space on the campus of the University of Colorado Boulder. Designed by Bentel & Bentel, the event facilities are anchored by a 15,000-sf ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,000 attendees or scale down for smaller gatherings of 10.
The venue emphasizes flexibility and style for a range of business and social functions, supported by the hotel’s modern design and sustainability features. Built to LEED Gold standards, Limelight Boulder is the largest all-electric hotel in the U.S., reflecting the destination’s commitment to environmentally responsible development.
Beyond its meeting space, the property offers a mix of amenities aimed at groups and individual travelers alike. The hotel features 252 guestrooms and suites, many with mountain or downtown views. The hotel includes a heated rooftop pool, fitness center, coworking space and a game room.

Dining options are headlined by Ajax Tavern, which brings Aspen’s well-known après ski dining concept to Boulder, along with Crepe Therapy Café from James Beard–honored chef Mawa McQueen.
Limelight Boulder also introduces new brand programming that groups can take advantage of, including Limelight Live, a live entertainment series, and Adventure Architects, a concierge-style team that designs bespoke itineraries and experiences using local expertise.
Located within steps of Pearl Street Mall and minutes from outdoor recreation like hiking the Flatirons or kayaking Boulder Creek, the property provides easy access to both campus facilities and Boulder’s broader attractions.
Limelight Boulder is part of the Limelight Hotels portfolio, which includes properties in Aspen, Snowmass, Ketchum and Denver, with additional projects planned in Mammoth, California, and Charleston, South Carolina.
