The 9th Annual IMEX America Well-being Challenge drew more than 500 competitors, who exercised their way to the top of the leaderboard during the show, held Oct. 12-15 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

Powered by Heka Health, creators of custom-designed, turnkey wellness challenges—sponsored by Caesars Entertainment and LVCVA in parnership with Prevue and the PCMA Foundation—the IMEX America Well-being Challenge 2026 invited teams and individuals to participate in a range of well-being activities while enjoying some healthy competition with their peers.

Participants earned chances to win prizes for reaching Challenge Goals and working their way up the leaderboard, with activities including weightlifting, stretching, squats and aerobics.

Winning Perspectives

Shermell Williams, “islandgirl.”

Topping the leaderboard once again was Shermell Williams, competing as islandgirl, who earned 189,770 points and told Prevue, “I’ve always enjoyed competing because I like challenging myself, setting goals, and seeing how far I can push myself. For me, competition is less about winning a prize and more about the experience, the challenge, and the opportunity to test myself,” she said, adding, “In this case, I was not selected for a prize. However, I did win the challenge itself, which was rewarding because it confirmed that the preparation and determination paid off. For me, that was the real accomplishment.”
