Hilton closed 2025 with record-breaking momentum across the Caribbean and Latin America, surpassing 300 operating hotels across 35 countries and building a development pipeline of more than 150 properties totaling 21,000+ rooms.

The company opened more than 30 hotels during the year and signed a record number of new deals, adding over 70 hotels and 7,800 rooms to its pipeline—a 55 percent year-over-year increase in hotel count and more than 25 percent growth in rooms versus 2024.

Luxury and Lifestyle Drive Expansion

More than half of 2025’s openings came from Hilton’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio. Standout additions included Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique, marking the brand’s debut in Costa Rica; Zemi Miches Punta Cana All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton in the Dominican Republic; and York Medellin, Curio Collection by Hilton, the first Curio property in Medellin.

To further accelerate its luxury momentum, Hilton also signed two new Conrad hotels that will anchor its presence in key urban markets:

  • Conrad Lima – A 21‑story oceanfront urban retreat in Lima’s Miraflores district, planned for 2028.
  • Conrad Monterrey – Slated for debut in the next few years.

Lifestyle growth continued across nearly 20 countries, with notable signings in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Suriname and the Dominican Republic. The company also confirmed new Motto by Hilton properties in Brazil and Mexico.

Hilton’s focused service portfolio is also gaining ground, with more than 90 hotels in the regional pipeline. Brand debuts in 2025 included Spark by Hilton Ponce in Puerto Rico, Tru by Hilton Chillan Ferrat in Chile and Hampton by Hilton St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
