Brightline (soon to be Virgin Trains) has been in the news lately regarding the possibility of opening a station in Walt Disney World in the next couple of years.
The proposed Brightline Orlando station would provide a direct rail connection to Orlando International Airport and serve as the initial segment for Virgin Trains’ future extension to Tampa. In addition, by the end of 2020, Boca Raton is expected to be the third new station in the brand’s south corridor, joining Aventura and PortMiami. Currently, there are stops available in West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
Right now, Brightline is offering 50 percent off on all group bookings of 16 passengers or more through Jan. 31, 2020. Groups can reserve a private 49- or 60-seat train car or do a full-train buyout to experience Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.
Brightline’s events team can work with meeting planners to design corporate events for up to 240 attendees while cruising along at 79 miles per hour. Marcia Lowther, senior VP of sales for Brightline, reported that more clients are taking advantage of this unique, customized offering. “A private train car is one of the most innovative ways to celebrate in South Florida, guaranteeing a one-of-a-kind experience.”
Private groups can also rent out all 240 seats and activate each car with unique themes complemented with specialty food and beverage, decorations and music. Turning the train into an experiential journey, Brightline cars can transform into silent disco dance parties, karaoke sing-alongs, or even a jungle-themed oasis. You can also work with the Brightline sales team to create one-of-a-kind destination experiences in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.
