Delta is introducing a new kind of travel companion—one that fits in your pocket and knows you better with every trip.

Delta Concierge, an AI-powered assistant built into the Delta app exclusively for SkyMiles Members, is designed to deliver real-time, personalized support using Delta’s internal data and smarter logic.

First introduced from the CES 2025 stage, Delta Concierge is now entering its next chapter: As of Oct. 29, a select group of Delta SkyMiles Members and app users will have early access to a beta version of the tool and will be able to provide meaningful feedback in its development. Once Concierge’s performance has been analyzed, the tool will be expanded to include all SkyMiles customers, airline spokespeople said.

Concierge appears as a widget in the Fly Delta app’s top right corner, answering real-time questions about flights, seating, bag tracking and loyalty benefits. However, the tool is not designed to replace the human element, the airline says, but to work alongside the team, seamlessly connecting users to real reservations and customer care staff when needed.

“Delta Concierge is more than just a digital assistant—it’s a reflection of how we’re using AI technology to blend the physical and digital experience,” said Eric Phillips, Delta’s Chief Digital Officer, in a media announcement. “As customers begin to get access, we want to hear their feedback. This limited rollout helps us learn and refine, so together we can deliver a smarter, more seamless, and deeply personalized travel experience.”

Once signed in to a SkyMiles account, Delta Concierge will authenticate the member’s identity to access their secure travel details. They would then click the icon to unlock personalized support for their trip, including:

  • Real-time answers to travel questions such as flight time, seat and gate* (*available 24 hours prior to departure), and questions about SkyMiles status, benefits and more.
  • Personalized FAQs based on travel history and preferences.
  • eCredit and bag lookup, including bag tracking and claim status.
  • Voice activation, to help you find answers hands-free.

Following testing and refinement over the next several months, additional features will be unlocked in 2026, Delta says.
