Gift A Trip is a New Sourcing Resource For Individual Incentives

Gift A Trip is a one-stop-shop for all-inclusive travel certificates direct from leading resort and cruise brands.

30-year hospitality veterans Lori Cassidy and Pam Kressley, who have held top positions at Disney Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean International, have launched Gift A Trip, a turnkey source for online purchase and delivery of individual travel certificates from top-tier resort and cruise brands. Each certificate covers a full vacation experience, all-inclusive of accommodations, taxes, fees and gratuities.

The growing collection of Gift A Trip options currently includes certificates from 27 resort brands, individual resorts and cruise lines.  Planners can shop by price, brand name or vacation type, and will recognize many popular incentive destinations in the Caribbean and the US—from Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina to JW Marriott Camelback Inn Scottsdale, as well as cruise lines from Celebrity Cruises to Atlas Ocean Voyages. “The level of support from our supplier partners has been overwhelming, as they recognize the value in and need for such a widely accessible reward and gifting solution,” said Cassidy.

Gift A Trip certificates have no purchasing minimums, no sourcing or booking fees, no expiration dates and year-round validity with limited blackout dates. Pricing is pre-negotiated, with all certificates priced at an exact amount for the chosen length of stay.

While secure digital delivery is complimentary, there’s also an inexpensive option to upgrade with a signature red gift box that includes a gold-toned note card and travel journal, an upgrade that is well suited for an incentive recognition reward. Planners can also customize the certificates with add-ons such as airline credit vouchers, corporate branded gift packaging, and a flex trip option that gives the recipient a choice of travel rewards.

With employee retention and and recruitment a hot topic in today’s workplace, individual travel certificates respond to the trend of younger generations wanting to travel independently. “It’s important for organizations to recognize the needs and desires of the employees they’re seeking to motivate, reward and inspire,” Cassidy noted. Gift A Trip certificates, she said, “provide a way to address the need for personalization without having to do so within a group setting.”
