Bally’s Corporation is preparing to transform the Las Vegas Strip with a new development project: Bally’s Las Vegas will be a 35-acre campus that promises to redefine the integrated resort experience in the entertainment capital of the world.

“Bally’s Las Vegas represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to redefine the heart of the Strip,” said Soo Kim, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Bally’s Corporation, in a press statement. “With world-class partners like JLL and Marnell, and with the arrival of Major League Baseball, we are not just building an integrated resort. We are creating a landmark destination that unites sports, entertainment, dining and hospitality on a scale only Las Vegas can deliver.”

Much Ado About Bally’s

The centerpiece of the new Bally’s Las Vegas will be a 2-tower casino resort, designed to captivate visitors with its modern architecture and luxurious amenities. These towers will house 3,000 guestrooms. Complementing the hotel towers will be a 4-level, 500,000-sq.-ft. entertainment and retail hub. JLL, the development partner, is curating the project’s retail and dining offerings, ensuring a diverse mix of global brands and local favorites.

One of the most anticipated features of the new Bally’s Las Vegas is its proximity to the future home of the Las Vegas Athletics. This location allows for the integration of professional sports and resort amenities, including a VIP experience with direct ballpark access. The resort will also boast a state-of-the-art entertainment venue capable of seating 2,500 guests.

A Moment in History

To make way for this groundbreaking development, the iconic Tropicana Las Vegas was imploded. This event, which took place on Oct. 1, 2024, at 12:01 a.m. PT, marked the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter in Las Vegas history. The Tropicana, which first opened its doors in 1957, had been a fixture on the Strip for over six decades. Its demolition cleared the path for the construction of the new A’s ballpark and Bally’s entertainment resort destination.
