JetBlue is set to expand its presence at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) this winter, announcing nine new nonstop routes and additional service on high-demand destinations. The move will bring the carrier’s peak schedule at FLL to 113 daily departures.
Beginning in November, JetBlue will launch service from Fort Lauderdale to nine destinations across the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean. The expansion includes flights to Cali, Colombia, as well as service to Aruba, Cartagena, Grand Cayman, Liberia (Costa Rica), New Orleans, Pittsburgh, San Pedro Sula and St. Maarten.
In addition to the new routes, JetBlue will add frequencies on nine existing flights from Fort Lauderdale, including to Atlanta, Boston, Cancun, Hartford, Kingston, Punta Cana, San Juan, San Jose and Santiago.
With the new schedule, JetBlue will serve 46 nonstop destinations from Fort Lauderdale. The airline has added 17 new routes from FLL since the start of 2024.
New Routes to Top Destinations
“As the top airline in Fort Lauderdale, with more departures than any other carrier on peak travel days, JetBlue is proud to keep raising the bar for customers in South Florida and to continue bringing them to the places they want to go,” said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s Vice President, Network Planning and Airline Partnerships, in a media statement. “By adding new routes and expanding service to top destinations, we’re giving travelers more opportunities to enjoy the comfort, quality service and value that sets JetBlue apart.”
“We are truly excited and welcome this expansion with open arms,” said Mark E. Gale, FLL CEO/Director of Aviation, in a media statement. “With the addition of seven international and two domestic routes from FLL, this gives South Floridians more convenient and cost-effective ways to visit and enjoy these cities, whether traveling for business or leisure.”
The expansion builds on JetBlue’s long-standing ties to Fort Lauderdale, which was its first destination 25 years ago and remains a major hub for flights to Latin America and the Caribbean.
To celebrate the airline’s 113 peak daily flights from Fort Lauderdale later this year, your clients can now enjoy fares starting at $113 or less from Fort Lauderdale to any of the 46 nonstop destinations JetBlue will serve this fall.
