Despite a tough year for airlines facing travel bans and poorly executed passenger relations, Skytrax, a U.K.-based air travel guide site, celebrated the industry’s best by highlighting the world’s Top 100 Airlines in 2017.

Here are the top five airlines that Skytrax announced at the World Airline Awards held on June 20 at the Paris Air Show.

Qatar Airways

Ranked No. 1, Qatar Airways continues to impress passengers with its First and Business Class cabins as well as its inflight entertainment system. Even before passengers take flight on the Qatar-based airline, the airline’s Premium Terminal at Doha International Airport features spa treatments, a sauna, jacuzzi and restaurants.

Singapore Airlines

Next up is Singapore Airlines, which offers five classes of service and underwent a major upgrade to its cabin and inflight service in 2006. Its wide array of food options include regional Japanese, Chinese and Indian dishes that cater to those markets.

All Nippon Airways

The largest airline in Japan, All Nippon Airways features an advanced in-flight entertainment system that offers shopping and meal ordering and connects easily to Apple products.

Based out of Dubai, Emirates stands out for its free onboard Wi-Fi and personalized chauffeur service  to and from the airport for First and Business class passengers.

Cathay Pacific

Headquartered in Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific is known for top service and spacious seats across all three of its classes. Plus, it offers the most nonstop service to Hong Kong—perfect for groups working in the Asian market.
