Private events will get quality private time with the new Epic Universe Dine & Ride program, just announced by Universal Orlando at IMEX America.

Here’s how it works—your group arrives after 4pm, enjoys some rides then dines at one the following dining venues in Celestial Park, one of five epic worlds in the new theme park:

  • Atlantic
  • Club Jupiter
  • The Oak & Star Tavern
  • The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant
  • Le Gobelet Noir

Once dinner is over, they get Universal Express access to one select attraction. Dine & Ride is available for groups of 20-200.

Event Pavilion Dine & Ride

With the Event Pavilion Dine & Ride, groups enjoy a catered meal steps away from Celestial Park followed by an exploration through Epic Universe’s other worlds—The Wizarding World of Harry Potter–Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon–Isle of Berk and Dark Universe.

When the park closes to the public, your group stays up late for after-hours fun. This option is available for group sizes of 101-500.

Epic Hotel Happenings

Universal’s newest hotel, Helios Grand Hotel, is their third new property in six months.

Universal’s Epic Universe is perfectly placed for meeting groups. A prime position within walking distance of the Orange County Convention Center gives its two sister properties—Universal Stella Nova (opened January 2025) and Universal Terra Luna (opened March 2025)—a unique distinction.

“Universal Stella Nova and Universal Terra Luna are the only hotels we have that are considered part of the I-Drive and Convention Center corridor,” noted Allison Frohman-Bolanovich, Director of Resort Sales & Marketing during a meeting with Prevue at IMEX America.

Frohman-Bolanovich also pointed out that though both hotels are in the “moderate” category, “they have services,” she said. “A lobby bar, restaurant and bar and a gym.”

Meanwhile, another new property—Universal Helios Grand Hotel, A Loews Hotel—just opened in May, forming a trio of properties all opened within six months of each other. With 500 rooms and 4,000 sf of meeting space, Helios offers a more luxe experience, plus it connects directly to Epic Universe.

“You can literally walk from the hotel into the park,” Frohman-Bolanovich said.

Frohman-Bolanovich also stressed the personalized service planners get from the Universal hotels team.

“Our team sells all of our 11 properties,” she said. “So if a planner booked something a year ago with one salesperson, they can work with the same person the next time around.”
