Jim Feldman, author of 14 books including Shift Happens, speaks to audiences around the world about innovation and thriving on change. In this two-part session, attendees will come up with creative, new approaches to three components of meetings—panels, coffee breaks and one of each attendee’s choice.. These collective ideas will then be combined and reported out to the group at the final session.

Using the conference app he created for the meeting, Jeannie Power of Power Event Group will show how you can drive engagement via audience polls, gamification and social media.

11:15 a.m. – 12:30 a.m. Creative Meeting Formats: Hands-On Workshop

In this hands-on session, attendees will experience the use of two creative meeting formats—Open Space and World Café—to explore the obstacles that keep them from making the changes they want to make to their meetings. Facilitator Patrick Parker-Roach of ThoughtRoads has used these formats with organizations ranging from the Society for Organizational Learning to the Department of Justice to Intel to accomplish specific business objectives such as networking, brainstorming and long term improvements to corporate culture.

1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. The Power of Play

Sharon Fisher of Play With a Purpose will share strategies for incorporating purposeful play into your meetings and stories of how hundreds of clients have used playful interaction to accomplish their business goals.

2:30 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. Wrap-Up Session

We will brainstorm the collective results and leave with new ideas for transforming 3 aspects of your meetings, as well as 3 key takeaways.
