John’s hospitality career has allowed him the opportunity to live coast-to-coast in the United States and to experience a diverse array of cities, people and cultures. His operations career spans decades as a General Manager and Regional Vice President for Winegardner + Hammons, Inc, John Q Hammons and Marriott International, Inc. In his current role as Market Director of Sales and Marketing, he has been part of several milestone opportunities and brand launches in the DFW market, including the first new build Renaissance Hotel in DFW market managed by Marriott (opened July 2017) and the first new build luxury brand JW Marriott Dallas Arts District managed by Marriott (April 2023).
CMP, TML Services Group, LLCTerry is a veteran professional meeting planner, among the first to become certified, and has been gainfully employed in this industry since stepping out of college. Her client programs have taken her on around-the-world travels and included working with major corporate clients such as Dr Pepper and Wilson Sporting Goods, in addition to countless pharmaceutical companies and incentives. Terry is also a founding charter member and two-term Past President of Greater Orlando MPI and has served several terms on the International MPI Board of Directors. Her recently published book, Meetings Mayhem!, is full of amusing detours.
