AC Hotel Arlington National Landing has officially reopened after a multimillion-dollar renovation, marking its debut as the largest AC Hotel in North America.
Formerly the Crystal City Marriott, the 355-room property joins Marriott International’s AC Hotels brand portfolio with refreshed accommodations, new dining concepts, upgraded public spaces and enhanced amenities designed to meet the needs of today’s business and group travelers.
Conveniently located in Arlington’s National Landing district, just minutes from Reagan National Airport and steps from the Crystal City Metro, the hotel is surrounded by walkable retail, entertainment and wellness options—including the Mount Vernon Trail for walking, jogging and biking. The property is also near Amazon HQ2, Virginia Tech’s Innovation Campus and the interstate.
Tailored for Meetings and Groups
For planners seeking functional and flexible meeting space, the hotel features 8,800 sf of newly renovated event space across 11 venues, all situated on a single floor for convenience. The modern, minimalist design of each meeting room provides a clean backdrop for branding and customization, or can be used as-is for more understated gatherings.

Each space is equipped with advanced audiovisual technology, including high-speed internet, HD projectors and both wired and wireless connectivity—well-suited for hybrid meetings, live-streaming and virtual collaboration. A dedicated on-site team is available to support logistics, A/V needs and event execution.
Accommodations
The 355 guestrooms reflect the AC Hotels brand’s signature European-inspired aesthetic, blending clean architectural lines with a calming palette of grays and blues. Designed for both business and leisure stays, rooms include wide seating nooks and expansive windows offering views of Arlington’s skyline. Select rooms feature kitchenettes and flexible layouts for extended stays or small group blocks.

Onsite Dining
The newly introduced AC Kitchen & Lounge, led by Executive Chef Anoop Nathoo, offers a tapas-style menu. Breakfast is served daily with a European-style buffet and full-service options available. The AC Lounge serves dinner seven days a week and weekday happy hour. The indoor-outdoor space includes accordion-style doors that open to a landscaped patio, ideal for private receptions or networking events.
